Take notice swift and strong Outlanders! The time has come for the stalwart Barony of Unser Hafen to choose its newest Defender and Protector. To accomplish this, tournaments will be held to assess the skills and character of those who aspire to be Champions.

Only those from within the borders of the Barony are eligible for the Champion positions, but all are welcome and encouraged to participate for the joy of combat. It is also possible to compete without the desire to be a Champion.

The Heavy tournament for Defender will require 2-handed authorization, with a mixed-weapon style. The Fencing tournament for Protector will be a single-sword tourney, with additional details being held secret to encourage training in all areas and styles.

A donation meal will take place after the tournaments are concluded (courtesy of Syr Deotrich) and court will follow at the whim of Their Excellencies.

Directions to the site: From I-25, exit 269B for CO-14W. Follow 14 west as it gets renamed Mulberry, the park should be on the right after roughly five miles. Turn north (right) on Sheldon Drive into the park and then another right onto City Park Drive, and the field should be on your right and parking on the left.
