Please allow us to extend the hospitality of the Outlands to heralds and scribes everywhere. Join us this July for the Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium. Come and take advantage of an exciting and extensive schedule of classes taught by some of the worlds most knowledgeable heralds and scribes.
NEW!! We will be holding
a Scriptorium in the main hallway, so bring
those works of art that grace your walls, show them off and see glorious
works from scribes in other kingdoms. We have also added a best heraldic
garment contest. Wear your arms on your arms! Bring your banners
to
grace the dinner and dancing hall.
There will be separate rates both for paid pre-registration vs. payment at the door and for adults (12 and over) and children (6 to 12) - save $5 on site fee for the whole weekend by pre-registering! The event will be held in the the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Longmont-Boulder in Longmont, Colorado, near Denver and Fort Collins. We have negotiated a good block rate for hotel rooms - see below for more details.
Friday afternoon and evening social activities are being planned - check back for more details as time gets closer. The Denver area also offers a variety of entertaining activities for anyone who arrives early or can stay late.
We are still looking for instructors for both heraldic and scribal classes, but there is a preliminary listing of classes available. There is also some information available on submitting for the Proceedings.
We are pleased to announce that the Da'ud Bob ibn Briggs Roadshow, starring Da'ud Bob himself, will be making a stop at KWHS this year during lunch! Come find out how to tell if you're watching a Da'ud Bob movie!

The event will be held in the the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Longmont-Boulder in Longmont, Colorado, near Denver and Fort Collins. We have gotten a great block rate for hotel rooms, which allows up to 4 people to share the same room with no additional fees. The rate is $79/night for up to 4 people per room. To get this rate you should:
Classes are expected to start fairly early on Saturday - cut out drive time and stay in the hotel
The hotel ends its economy rate for reservations on
